Since its inception, University of Mosul sought to log into the international scientific classifications to assert its due position in the local and the international scientific course. In this respect, with the incessant follow-up by Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin A-Ahmedy, Rector of University of Mosul and his emphasis of the necessity of promoting the educational, research and serious pace of the University on the international level, the University entered the international scientific classification ‘Green Metric,’ ranking 700 out of 780 international universities in the first year of subscription. Locally speaking, the University ranked 24 out of 44 universities within the Green Metric. This is but an assertion of the seriousness of the University in the way of meeting the higher international quality standards.
