Under auspices and in presence of Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ahmed Riyadh Al-Obaidi, Directorate of Youth and Sports in Nineveh, in cooperation with Sufaraa Dar Al-Salam Foundation, holds a conference titled (Mosul Towards Building And Peace) in the headquarters of Shabab Al-Hadbaa Club, on Saturday December 21 2019. The conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmedy, Rector of University of Mosul, Mr. Najm Al-Juboori, Governor of Nineveh, Parliamentarian Sherwan Al-Doberdani, in addition to a number of officials of the directorates of the province. The works of the conference commenced by reciting verses of the Holy Quran, a minute of standing revering the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and playing the national anthem. Then, a speech was delivered by Director of Directorate of Youth and Sports, in which he welcomed the attendees and shed light on the directorate. Next, Governor Al-Juboori emphasized the important role of the youth in the forthcoming stage in building and stabilization. The activities of the conference included verse recitation, drama, painting, handwork, sports and artistic shows.
