The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research inaugurated several construction projects, classrooms, and laboratories at Jabir Ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Najaf.

During the inauguration ceremony, attended by the university president, Dr. Ali Ismail Abdullah, and members of the university council, the minister emphasized that these new facilities will enhance medical and health education. They will provide students and researchers with opportunities to engage in research that contributes to the advancement of the health sector in Iraq.

He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is committed to supporting emerging universities, including Jabir Ibn Hayyan University, by developing their infrastructure and equipping them to achieve their goals, mission, and competitiveness in global rankings.

The inaugurated projects include:

Medical Chemistry Laboratory

Medical Analysis Laboratory

Medical Sciences Laboratory

Virtual Legislation Laboratory

Classrooms named after Sayyid Shohadaa of Resistance and the scientist Jabir Ibn Hayyan
