The College of Engineering at the University of Mosul organized a workshop titled “Technology Parks” today, Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Munir Salim Taha, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs.

The workshop, presented by Lecturer Dr. Omar Salah Al-Din Dhnon, introduced the concept of technology parks, including technological incubator units and the services they provide in supporting innovation and entrepreneurial projects for students and graduates. These initiatives aim to support the local market and foster collaboration with the private sector to back student projects and small or emerging businesses.

Dr. Dhnon also highlighted the Iranian experience in establishing technology parks within universities, showcasing the most significant achievements and distinctive outcomes produced by these parks.
