In support of the university staff, service provision, and sustainable development goals, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, inaugurated a new parking lot at the College of Medicine on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The lot accommodates 206 cars and includes designated spaces for people with disabilities to ensure their needs are met. Additional parking spaces have also been allocated for the college staff and students.

During the inauguration, Dr. Al-Ibrahimi toured the facility and listened to explanations about the key services it will provide. The event was attended by Dr. Rafee Al-Qazzaz, representative of the Director General of the Nineveh Health Department, and Prof. Dr. Basel Mohammed Nadhir, Dean of the College, along with his scientific and administrative assistants.
