Master’s thesis at the Faculty of Law on the role of custom in commercial transactions
The Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis entitled The Role of Custom in Commercial Transactions by researcher Rand Ihsan Habib in the Private Law Branch on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, part of which was attended by Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and a number of members of the Faculty Council and its teachers.
The study dealt with the role of custom as one of the oldest sources of commercial law, reviewing its composition of two pillars: The study examined the role of custom as one of the oldest sources of commercial law, reviewing its composition of two elements: material and moral, and its varying status between national and international legislations.
