Iraqi and Iranian universities sign 100 memorandums of understanding to enhance scientific cooperation

Iraqi and Iranian universities have signed 100 memorandums of understanding to enhance scientific cooperation as part of the Science Week currently being held in the holy city of Karbala.

The agreements aim to promote scientific exchange across various scientific and technological disciplines, organize joint training programs for students and faculty, and exchange academic expertise in research fields. They also focus on fostering collaboration in modern technology, innovation, and their practical applications, contributing to the development of economic and scientific sectors, as well as establishing scientific and technological parks in Iraqi universities.

The universities of both countries have also agreed to carry out joint research projects, encourage cooperation in shared academic supervision, update curricula, and exchange scholarships.
