The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences, held an awareness and educational campaign entitled Socialization of Children.
It aimed to raise awareness among families, schools, peers and the media about the role of socialization in achieving socio-cultural psychological compatibility by acquiring sober social standards, customs, behaviors and prevailing values, and explaining its role in determining patterns of human behavior and defining aspects of its social relations to become members whose motto is belonging and loyalty, and the need to
Staying away from wrong socialization methods such as neglect, authoritarianism, excessive pampering, overprotection, leniency in punishments, or excessive cruelty, discrimination and inequality between children, false comparison, imposing a strict system of hygiene and health rules, family exaggeration, especially parents, in challenging the level of ambition
Relying on the right educational methods, and the importance of making them feel accepted, valued, respected and useful to parents and society.
