Expanding its Green Spaces and Promoting Sustainable Development Programs in this vital field

Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Sustainable Development, confirms that the committee is moving at an accelerated pace in order to preserve the environment from pollution and to implement the sustainable development goal of increasing green areas and eliminating desertification, through his chairmanship and supervision of the afforestation campaigns held by the university.
Through his chairmanship and supervision of the afforestation campaigns held by the university continuously, in order to move forward in the campaign launched by Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shi’a Al-Sudani to plant five million trees, rehabilitate large areas, and increase greenery to reduce environmental pollution that threatens biological life on earth.
