Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the National Day of the Holy Quran celebration was held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Martyr Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad, in the presence of a number of academics and specialists in the fields of Sharia, Islamic sciences, the Holy Quran and the Arabic language.

The ceremony honored a number of memorizers of the Holy Quran from various Iraqi universities, including students of the University of Mosul, in addition to the participation of a number of teachers of Islamic Sciences and Quran from our university, who attended as part of the university delegation in this distinguished event, in recognition of their efforts in serving the Quran and memorizing it.

It is noteworthy that the celebration comes within the framework of enhancing the role of academic institutions in supporting Islamic and Sharia sciences, and highlighting the importance of memorizing the Holy Quran in the scientific and cultural process of society.
