Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, the college organized a workshop entitled (Human Right to a Clean Environment), on Monday, February 3, 2025, attended by Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs.

The workshop addressed the importance of environmental sustainability, pollution reduction, and the role of individuals and institutions in protecting the environment, and witnessed discussions on the most prominent environmental challenges facing society and ways to address them.

This activity comes within the framework of the university’s efforts to enhance environmental awareness and highlight the role of scientific research in achieving sustainable development and ensuring a clean environment for future generations.
