Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received the delegation of the (KfW), which included Mr. Marc-Andre Hensel, Director of the Bank’s office in Iraq, Mr. Hassan Haddad, Deputy Director of the Bank’s Baghdad office, and Mr. Thomas Lehmann, Senior Portfolio Manager in Iraq.

The President of the University met with the delegation to discuss several issues related to the project and the most important challenges and proposed solutions in the presence of a number of experts from the University, stressing the University’s keenness to benefit from international expertise in the field of sustainable energy.

The two parties also conducted a tour of the university’s facilities, which included several sites, and the delegation praised the development of the university.
