Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, met with the ministerial sub-committee to invest the energies of the scholarship students to discuss mechanisms to employ their expertise in developing the educational and research process and enhancing the university’s position in international rankings.

During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of continuing the communication of scholarship students with the universities in which they studied, as this has a role in exchanging knowledge and participating in international research and joint projects, which contributes to raising the academic level of the university.

Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, head of the ministerial sub-committee, spoke about the need to provide a stimulating academic environment that allows scholarship students to transfer their experiences to students and faculty members, and enhance research cooperation with international academic institutions.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the University affirmed his full support for the scholarship students, emphasizing that they represent a key pillar in the renaissance of the university, and that exploiting their potential will contribute to the development of scientific research and improve the quality of education.
