As part of supporting the culture of dialogue and societal peace, the University of Mosul participated in the event of declaring Nineveh a province of peaceful coexistence for the year 2025, which was held under the patronage of the Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil, under the slogan “Nineveh is a tent for all Iraqis”, in cooperation with the University and its Peace Building Center, and Iraqna Center for Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Nineveh.

The event was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, and a number of academic and administrative figures.
