In support of its major goals, including preserving the environment from pollution, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim, Assistant to the President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Administrative Assistant to the President of the University, the University of Mosul conducted a bicycle race for students, and taught schoolchildren in Nineveh how to plant trees to encourage them and train them on the correct scientific principles in preserving the environment, spreading green spaces, and reducing the harmful effects of pollution for a sustainable life and a better tomorrow.
