On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, inaugurated the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hall affiliated with the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up at the university presidency. The hall is dedicated to talented students at the University of Mosul through the Talented Students Club Unit, as well as to graduates.

He was accompanied by Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, his scientific assistant.

The hall is equipped with 3D printers, a 3D scanner, Arduino boards used for engineering integration, Meta virtual reality headsets, an interactive screen, and a video communication system powered by artificial intelligence technologies.

The purpose of opening this hall is to keep pace with global developments and modern trends, and to serve as a platform for students and graduates to showcase and support their talents and innovations in a way that meets the demands and changes of the labor market.
