The International English Language Testing Center at the University of Mosul has been accredited as an accredited IELTS test registration center

In a new step to enhance its academic services and broaden students’ horizons towards international education, the British Council has announced that the International English Language Testing Center at the University of Mosul has been accredited as an approved registration center for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests within the university center or any center inside or outside Iraq.

This step comes after the University of Mosul’s center was accredited in 2023 by the British Council as an official IELTS test center, and is now also an accredited registration center, making it easier for students and community members to apply and bringing them closer to global education opportunities.

This cooperation comes within the university’s endeavor to provide an integrated academic environment that contributes to qualifying students to join international universities by providing integrated services related to the world’s most accredited English language test.

For his part, Prof. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, affirmed that this achievement reflects the university’s commitment to develop its academic infrastructure and serving the community, while the British Council representative praised the partnership with the University of Mosul, stressing that such steps support the aspirations of Iraqi youth towards international higher education.
