The College of Science at the University of Mosul has achieved a distinguished research achievement by publishing a scientific research within the Scopus, prepared by Assistant Professor Dr. Aws Ibrahim Suleiman from the Department of Life Sciences, in cooperation with graduation project students Zahraa Abdel-Moneim and Naba Raed.

The research was published in the journal Microbes and Infectious Diseases, categorized as Q4, and dealt with the effect of soursop extract on the antibiotic-resistant bacterium Proteus mirabilis.
