On Monday, June 2, 2025, the College of Law, under the slogan “For a healthy Iraq … No to extremism … Yes to peace and justice”, with the participation of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division in the college, held the sixth and second international scientific conference for postgraduate students’ research 2025.

In the presence and supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan, Dean of the College, members of its council and graduate students.

The conference witnessed the international participation of many researchers from Arab countries, including Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria and Cyprus, as well as researchers from the college.

The scientific sessions included various research on combating the crime of terrorism and the guarantees of the accused before the International Criminal Court, the legal protection of the trademark through the Internet, the digitization of the judicial administration, technology in the grip of criminal law, modern technologies in the balance of law from deficiency to the inevitability of adaptation, artificial intelligence, the problem of responsibility and legal restrictions, the role of digitization and information technology, the principle of responsibility to protect in international human rights law, Iraqi national measures to combat administrative and financial corruption and the impact of international agreements on them, and the impact of mental illness on responsibility.

The recommendations that came out of it were then read, as they will be submitted to the concerned authorities and the announcement of the first three researches in it.
