In line with the directives of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance organized a training course to develop the skills of counseling division officials in the colleges of the university, in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on strengthening the role of psychological counseling in light of the challenges facing students and university affiliates.

The course lasted for four days and included a series of lectures and workshops presented by a group of professors specialized in psychological counseling and psychology from the University of Mosul, in addition to lecturers from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Lebanese University , via cyberspace.

This course comes as part of the university’s endeavor to support the psychological and educational aspects of its students and affiliates, and to raise the efficiency of the counseling staff in order to create a more supportive and balanced university environment.
