On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired the 20th session of the University Council for the academic year 2024-2025, in the presence of all its members.

It included a number of paragraphs that discussed ways to promote sober scientific publishing and encourage publishing in Scopus repositories.

Discussing the mechanisms of forming scientific committees and the formation of sobriety committees to evaluate research according to strict academic standards.

In addition to discussing the prospects of cooperation with international universities to hold joint scientific conferences that support academic openness and knowledge exchange.
