In a step to support the means of cooperation between the University of Mosul and French universities, and at the invitation of the French Ambassador in Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, on Sunday, July 13, 2025, congratulated the French Ambassador “Patrick Durrell” at his residence at the French Embassy in Baghdad, on the occasion of the National Day of France, in a meeting that brought together a number of ministers, accompanied by the Francophone Corner Unit official, Dr. Samir Riad.

The University of Mosul emphasized its keenness and constant endeavor to maintain the momentum of joint scientific projects and the signing of scientific agreements with French universities to serve the development of the scientific research movement and the educational process of the university.

It is worth mentioning that the number of professors who graduated from French universities amounted to 13 professors, in addition to 3 students continuing their academic studies in them.
