Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, headed a delegation that included Assistant Professor Dr. Rafel Hassan Hamid, Administrative Assistant to the President of the University, and several members of the Council. On Sunday, July 27, 2025, he visited Brigadier General Hakam Daham Habu to congratulate him on his assumption of the duties of Director of the Civil Status, Passports, and Residency Directorate in Nineveh Governorate.

The delegation discussed the possibility of opening a center on campus to issue unified student ID cards based on the SIS system launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

He expressed his hope that bridges of cooperation would be extended between the university and the Ministry of Interior, stressing the need to maintain communication to exchange expertise and enhance opportunities for mutual benefit.
