To clarify the regulations outlined in Instruction No. 165 of 2011 regarding study leaves, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Mosul held a workshop on Monday, July 28, 2025, attended by Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs.

The event was attended by Dr. Ali Nadhir Abdul Baqi, Director of the Department, and Ms. Hind Sheet, Head of the the Students Abroad Division.

The workshop included a detailed explanation of the Study Leave Plan No. 165 of 2011, along with a discussion of related topics concerning the procedures for granting study leaves to eligible applicants. It also addressed the challenges faced by those managing the process, with the goal of facilitating postgraduate studies and ensuring a smoother, more efficient implementation of the regulations.
