As part of its efforts to strengthen scientific and research collaboration with Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, signed an academic agreement with the University of Babylon on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The signing ceremony was attended by an academic delegation led by Professor Dr. Amin Ajeel Yasser, President of the University of Babylon.

Also present at the ceremony was Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, the Assistant of the President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs.

The agreement includes provisions for the exchange of scientific and research expertise, mutual access to laboratories, guest lectures, and joint participation in various cultural activities — all aimed at supporting development and academic advancement.

This initiative aligns with the University of Mosul’s ongoing strategy to strengthen ties with educational institutions in order to raise the academic standard and keep pace with rapid global developments in science and knowledge.
