The Scientific Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Mosul held a specialized workshop on Sunday, August 3, 2025, focused on the mechanisms of organizing national and international scientific conferences. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs.

The session explored the core principles of scientific conference organization, emphasizing the importance of forming specialized committees and fostering cooperation and coordination between these committees and the organizing entities. The workshop highlighted the need for a modern, institutional approach that integrates digital technologies to ensure precision and efficiency, while saving time and effort.

Several related departments from the University Presidency participated in the workshop, including the Department of Planning and the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations.

Dr. Anas Maan Taher Ma’rouf and Dr. Ali Natheer delivered presentations that addressed the critical organizational aspects essential to the success of scientific conferences. They stressed the need to adopt effective strategies that showcase the University of Mosul’s strong organizational capabilities and commitment to excellence in academic event management.
