On Monday, August 4, 2025, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received Dr. Youssef Faraj Al-Sabawi, Member of the Legal Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

Prof. Al-Ibrahimi welcomed the esteemed guest and provided an overview of the University of Mosul, its colleges, and the educational, research, and community services it offers. He also outlined the university’s strategic vision and plans aimed at advancing the province and enhancing its academic standing locally and internationally.

For his part, Dr. Al-Sabawi expressed his admiration for the developments taking place at the University of Mosul, praising the efforts of its leadership and staff in supporting the educational and research movement in Nineveh. He wished the university continued progress and success.
