As part of its drive toward digital transformation and the promotion of environmental initiatives, the University of Mosul has announced the results of its opinion poll on the “Jisr – Smart Green Revenue” project, which aims to promote environmentally responsible behavior and achieve sustainability through an intelligent waste-sorting system supported by a dedicated mobile application.

The survey, which included 252 participants, revealed that 98% supported the implementation of the system and considered it an excellent and beneficial idea, while 2% saw no value in it.

This project comes as part of the University’s efforts to build a digital and sustainable campus, by developing a smart environment that enhances operational efficiency and fosters positive environmental behavior, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives toward service automation and improved administrative quality.

“Jisr” is one of the pioneering initiatives adopted by the University in its quest to create an aware, responsible, and innovative academic environment.
