On Sunday, August 24, 2025, the Civil Defense Division part of the Council Affairs Department at the University of Mosul, held a workshop focused on the preliminary steps for digital transformation in its operations. The workshop was attended by safety officers from the university’s colleges, departments, and centers.
The lecture, presented by Mr. Mohammed Akram Al-Sahati, discussed the latest methods for electronic communication with university staff using digital technologies. These methods aim to electronically organize civil defense shifts, ensuring accuracy in procedures while saving time and effort.
Al-Sahati emphasized the importance of collaboration and integration across all university divisions to achieve the strategic goal of digital transformation and establish the principles of e-governance.
