As part of its efforts to enhance institutional performance and promote a culture of planning, the Department of Studies and Planning at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics, organized a workshop titled: “Preparing the Strategic Plan for Colleges and Centers” on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the discussion hall of the College of Administration and Economics.

The workshop covered key topics, including: the concept and importance of the strategic model, defining the vision, mission, and objectives, conducting environmental analysis using the SWOT methodology, and ways to transform plans into practical, executable programs and projects.

The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, along with several college deans, their assistants, and heads of the departments of studies, planning, quality assurance, and legal affairs. The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Ma’an Waddallah Al-Maadidi, who focused on the fundamentals of preparing strategic plans and how to turn them into actionable programs and projects.
