Under the patronage of his excellency the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboody, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi the President of Mosul University, with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Tahseen Mohsen the Dean of Nursing College, the college commenced on Wednesday morning, 27 August, 2025, its second guidance conference titled ” Combating Smoking and Psychological Disorders in the Community”
The conference aims to address the health and social aspects of smoking and its relation with the psychological disorders, through scientific researches and visions contribute to raise the health awareness and presenting  scientific solutions for prevention and treatment.
This comes to in lines with sustainable development goals of Mosul University to foster the health and scientific initiatives that serve the community and providing a more stable and healthy environment.
