The Iraqi Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, COSQC registered a patent for Dr. Aimen Mohammed Jabr of College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, and Dr. Aseel Abdul-Mun’im Hussein of College of Science on July 1, 2020. The patent was granted for manufacturing a high-precision low-cost apparatus for ‘testing the relayed jelly’ essential in DNA analysis. Noteworthy is that the apparatus is a complementary part of the PCR system.
