President of Mosul University Continues to Follow Up on Reconstruction Projects and Development of the University Work Environment

 

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, conducted a new field tour across several university departments to monitor the ongoing reconstruction projects and enhance the work environment.
The tour began with a visit to the Remote Sensing Center, where the president reviewed the center’s operational status and discussed ways to develop its research and scientific environment. The tour also included a visit to the Assyrian Library, to inspect the ongoing reconstruction work as part of its rehabilitation project, emphasizing the university’s commitment to restoring the library’s position as a distinguished scientific and cultural landmark.
Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Basel Khalaf Hamood, Head of the Nineveh Branch of the Academics Union accompanied the President of the University during the tour.
The university president explained that these field tours are part of the continuous follow-up on reconstruction and rehabilitation projects within the university campus, aimed at enhancing academic development and keeping pace with modern requirements.
