Project “TAFA’EL” (Be Optimistic, in Arabic), which was initiated two years ago by University of Mosul, in cooperation with the French Media Development Agency, CFI, was concluded in celebration in the Scientific and Literary Club of the University, on January 12th, 2021.The event, to which Rector Alahmady, Rector Assistant Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Dean of College of Arts, Assistant Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Offain, Director of the Agency in Iraq, Mr. Dilovan Berwari, aimed at training students of Department of Media, College of Arts, through a series of specialized media training workshops, how to format news and video reports in a way that encourages ideas of harmony in society.In the ceremonies, the CFI handed in the training website a present to students of Department of Media, to publish their journalistic activities and to help them through the practical side of their study.
