Veterinary College at Mosul University Collaborates with Turkish Universities in Training Course on the Diagnoses of zoonotic diseases

 

The Department of Microbiology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, organized a training course titled “Methods for Diagnosing Zoonotic Pathogens”, which began on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, and will continue until Thursday, September 18, 2025, lasting for three days. The course is conducted in collaboration with faculty members from Gazi University and Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University in Turkey.

The course includes theoretical and practical lectures covering the identification of animal-origin pathogens and methods for their diagnosis, highlighting their crucial role in safeguarding both animal and human health.

Lecturers from the College of Veterinary Medicine, along with their Turkish colleagues, deliver scientific lectures that enrich the expertise of researchers and graduate students, while promoting academic and scientific cooperation between the participating institutions.
