The Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Younis Al-Al-Juraisi, Dean of the College of Basic Education, participated in the meeting committee of Deans of Basic Education Colleges in Iraq. The meeting took place in Al-Kufa University, on 8-9 of October, 2025.

The meeting addressed a number of important scientific and administrative topics, including reviewing and updating the curricula of basic education colleges to keep pace with modern requirements, enhancing practical training for students and linking it to educational reality, and examining reports from subcommittees on curriculum development and teacher preparation programs. Also, enhancing the quality of academic performance and educational research, discussing the promotion issues, academic assignments, and updating certification evaluation criteria. In addition to enhance the academic cooperation between the colleges and the ministry, exchanging the skills in the fields of practicing and joint projects, and employing modern technologies in educational education to develop teaching and learning methods.

The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing to hold regular meetings of the Deans’ Committee to unify academic visions and promote scientific and educational integration among Iraqi universities, thus contributing to supporting the progress of higher education and improving the quality of its outcomes.
