Mosul University Students a Source of Talent and Distinguished Skills

The student Saad Mohammed Hussain wins the first place in Katara Prize for the Arabic Novel 2025.
A new achievement that reaffirms the leadership of Mosul University in fostering various sectors with outstanding and effective talents and skills, including the cultural and literary movement, master’s student Saad Mohammed Hussein from the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Humanities won first place in the 2025 Katara Prize for Arabic Novel, in its 11th edition held in Qatar, for his novel “The Shadow of the Circle.”
This prize is considered a significant cultural achievement and a living reflection of Mosul University’s efforts in supporting its students, embracing their talents, and guiding them toward excellence in all fields.
