Based on its vision to establish a culture of rigorous scientific research and elevate its academic output to international standards, the Department of Academic Affairs at the University of Mosul Presidency organized a workshop on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, entitled:
“How to Publish in Scopus: From Concept to International Accreditation.”

The workshop aimed to develop the skills of researchers, graduate students, and faculty members in the field of scientific publishing, introduce the mechanisms for preparing research according to the standards of journals approved in Scopus, and highlight the importance of selecting respected journals and working with reliable publishing houses to ensure the quality of research output.

The lecturers discussed the importance of reviewing previous studies and utilizing them to enhance the originality of research and avoid duplication. They emphasized that the University of Mosul is steadfast in supporting its researchers and expanding the scope of international publishing, enhancing its presence in global rankings and embodying its scientific leadership.
