On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, held a meeting with the Science and Technology Gardens Department, attended by Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, to discuss the development of emerging projects within the university and strengthening collaboration with the private sector to establish innovative strategic companies.

The meeting addressed the necessary legal frameworks and regulations to support the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, aiming to contribute to national economic development and enhance the university’s community role.

The meeting was attended by the department’s director and several officials responsible for legal affairs and technological incubation.

The university president emphasized the importance of providing a supportive environment for innovation and activating sustainable partnerships, in line with the university’s efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and support the knowledge economy.
