As part of the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” initiative launched by Mosul University’s presidency, the College of Medicine organized a tree-planting campaign on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, aimed at enhancing the college’s gardens. The campaign included planting various types of trees and saplings, with the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, Dean of the College, along with the scientific assistant, faculty members, and students.

The campaign was conducted under the supervision of the Agricultural Unit in the Administrative Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Media and Government Communications Department at the university presidency, and the College’s Media Department. It aimed to promote the spirit of volunteerism and collective participation in serving the university’s environment.

These ongoing environmental initiatives reflect Mosul University’s commitment to expanding green spaces within the campus and moving forward toward a sustainable green university that contributes to reducing pollution and enhancing the quality of university life.
