As part of its efforts to promote environmental awareness and expand green spaces, and within the framework of the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” initiative launched by the presidency of Mosul University, represented by the esteemed President Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Department of Dormitories Affairs carried out a wide-scale tree planting campaign on Thursday, November 6, 2025. The campaign involved planting trees, plants, and flowers in front of the department building.

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Agricultural Section and the Governmental Media and Communication Department at the university’s presidency, reflecting the university’s commitment to its environmental responsibilities and its pursuit of sustainable development goals.

The initiative aims to create a green university environment that contributes to improving the quality of life and enhances the aesthetic beauty of the campus, while also instilling values of volunteerism and environmental responsibility among the university’s staff and students
