As part of the ongoing supervision of infrastructure development projects at Mosul University, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, conducted a field inspection tour on Thursday morning, November 13, 2025. He was accompanied by Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, the Administrative Assistant to the President.

The President began his tour at the new University Presidency building and the Guest House to review progress rates and advanced stages of work. He then visited the College of Medicine to follow up on reconstruction work in the laboratory hall and the college cafeteria, in the presence of the Dean, Professor Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, where they examined the latest technical and structural updates.

The visit also included the Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics, which is undergoing continuous rehabilitation work aimed at enhancing its educational and service infrastructure.

These field visits reflect the University Presidency’s commitment to closely monitoring implementation progress to ensure adherence to technical specifications and timelines. This contributes to accelerating reconstruction efforts and improving the university environment. Such efforts align with the comprehensive strategic plans adopted by Mosul University to advance its academic and service realities and to provide a modern educational and research environment for its faculty members and students.
