Mosul University Strengthens Its Research Presence with a New Publication in a Prestigious International Journal

Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, in collaboration with postgraduate student Nabaa Hasan, has achieved a new research milestone through the publication of their study titled:
“Comparative Performance of Carbon-Sulfur Asphalt Mixtures Containing ABS and SBS Polymers Under Short and Long-Term Aging Impact.”
The research was published in the International Journal of Pavement Research and Technology, issued by the global publishing house Springer. The journal is classified within the Q2 quartile in the Scopus database and is distinguished by a SiteScore of 6.1 and an Impact Factor (IF) of 2.5.
This study presents a precise comparative analysis of the performance of carbon–sulfur asphalt mixtures containing ABS and SBS polymers under short- and long-term aging conditions. The goal is to develop more efficient and sustainable pavement materials for infrastructure projects.
This publication underscores Mosul University’s continued efforts to enhance its scientific output, strengthen its presence in reputable international journals, and support researchers in producing high-quality studies that meet the needs of the engineering environment and the broader community.
