As part of the university’s program for developing research skills and automating academic writing tools, the Scientific Affairs Department at the Presidency of Mosul University held a specialized workshop on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, titled “Strategies for Using Artificial Intelligence Tools to Enhance the Linguistic Quality of Scientific Research Writing in Arabic.” The workshop saw wide participation from postgraduate students and university staff.

The workshop explored the latest technologies and methods provided by artificial intelligence to assist researchers in editing and refining scientific texts with linguistic precision and clarity. It covered the integration of AI tools across different stages of research preparation—from writing the abstract and defining the research problem to editing and improving the overall style—aiming to empower researchers and elevate the quality of academic writing.

This initiative seeks to help scholars produce high-quality research that meets rigorous academic and linguistic standards, aligning with Mosul University’s vision to promote innovation and excellence in scientific and academic production.
