The College of Education for Girls Continues the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” Initiative Toward a Greener Campus Environment

 

On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the College of Education for Girls at Mosul University continued its environmental efforts as part of the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” initiative, launched by the university’s President, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, through an extensive tree-planting campaign around the college grounds.

The campaign took place in the presence of Dr. Shatha Hazem Korkis, the Dean of the College, accompanied by several faculty members, staff, and students, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and community responsibility.

The initiative was carried out in coordination with the Department of Media and Government Communication and the Agricultural Division at the University Presidency, with the goal of enhancing plant cover, improving the environment, and beautifying the campus. It reinforces the culture of volunteerism and underscores the college’s commitment to the university’s initiatives aimed at building a greener and more sustainable university.
