The College of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the Department of Media and Government Communication at Mosul University and the Anti-Drug Department of Nineveh Police Directorate, organized a workshop titled “Drugs and Their Impact on Society” on Monday, November 24, 2025. This event reflects Mosul University’s leadership role in serving the community and raising awareness of harmful societal phenomena.

The workshop aimed to educate students about the dangers of drugs to individuals and society, ways to combat and address the issue, and prevention and treatment mechanisms. It also focused on enhancing community awareness of the risks associated with drug use and trafficking.

This workshop is part of Mosul University’s efforts to utilize its research and academic resources in combating the dangers of drugs, with the goal of protecting society from their harmful consequences.
