In an effort to promote a culture of energy support and optimal energy use, and to encourage awareness-raising training programs among the staff and students of the University of Mosul, the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University Presidency, in coordination with the Occupational Health and Safety Unit, organized on Monday, November 24, 2025 the sixth training workshop for faculty members, employees, and students.

This workshop was conducted within a program prepared in implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision regarding the National Initiative for Supporting Energy and Reducing Emissions, along with its strategic goals and executive plans, and in alignment with the requirements of the Annual Plan of the ISO Energy and Efficiency Team for the year 2025.

This step reflects the university’s commitment to promoting energy sustainability, fostering an environmentally conscious campus that contributes to reducing harmful emissions, and directing its scientific vision and research efforts toward a cleaner environment and a safer, healthier future for all members of society.
