In support of environmental sustainability efforts and the “Ghiras Al-Rahma” initiative launched by the University of Mosul, the College of Agriculture and Forestry continued its green campaign on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in collaboration with the Agricultural Unit and the Department of Media and Government Communication at the University Presidency.

The campaign included the planting of several forest trees and ornamental plants in the university gardens, with the participation of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Farouq Al-Mu’adheedi, his scientific and administrative assistants, as well as a group of faculty staff and students. This reflects the college’s leading role in promoting environmental awareness.

This initiative contributes to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals, most notably climate action, life on land, and sustainable cities and communities, enhancing the university’s direction toward a greener, climate-friendly campus environment.
