On Monday, December 1, 2025, the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, received a delegation from the Nineveh Office of the Independent High Electoral Commission, headed by Mr. Djuwar Zaki, the technical assistant to the Nineveh Elections Office. The delegation presented a letter of thanks and recognition for the university’s outstanding efforts in ensuring the success of the electoral process and its effective cooperation with the commission’s team during the implementation phases and logistical support.

The reception was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, the Assistant of the President for Administrative Affairs. The delegation from the commission praised the institutional role played by the university in providing a supportive work environment, emphasizing that this fruitful collaboration directly contributed to the success of the electoral process and reinforced public trust in the democratic process.
