Launch of a Training Program to Enhance Dialogue and Build Trust at the University of Mosul

Under the patronage of University of Mosul President, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the University’s Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence organized a specialized training program on Sunday, December 14, 2025, as part of the Nineveh Forum. The program aims to strengthen effective dialogue and mutual trust among various segments of society in Nineveh Governorate, underscoring the pivotal role the university plays in serving the local community and fostering the foundations of stability and social cohesion.
The program was carried out in coordination and collaboration with several academic and community partners. It focused on the importance of community dialogue as a key pillar for building a stable society, enabling participants with skills to manage differences and turn them into opportunities for constructive cooperation. The program also included documentation of outcomes and the adoption of concise recommendations for follow-up, ensuring the sustainability of impact and aligning with the University of Mosul’s vision in supporting sustainable development and enhancing societal peace.
